Please note that this guide was last updated quite a few years ago (2006), so there will no doubt be changes in rates and possibly ownership.

“Amazing… amazing… simply amazing…” a British guest was heard whispering to himself as he tucked into an incredible Lynne-prepared lunch, served Robinson Crusoe-style beneath a lone palm on one of the Whitsunday’s 74 islands (70 of which are national parks). I’ll be honest, I never managed to meet Lynne and John in person or see the ‘Sydney Sundancer’ in all her teak-lined glory (they were far out at sea when I passed through) but there is no doubt in my mind that they are GG-worthy.....

.... If you want to unravel the divine secrets of the Great Barrier Reef these guys know where to pull the strings, especially with their unique roving permit which enables special access to all areas of the World Heritage Marine Park. John is a master mariner who has been sailing for over 30 years and earned a bundle of awards. Lynne is the oracle on coral and a master chef. Her knowledge is on a par with any marine biologist and her food is somewhat better! Both are trained SCUBA divers and wonderful hosts. "We welcome our guests aboard our yacht with the same enthusiasm that we would welcome friends into our home.” Each journey is unique and tailored to the length of your holiday and conditions at sea. You will spend your days snorkelling, sailing, hand-feeding tropical fish and exploring the many wondrous islands and beaches (make sure you bring your sunnies, the fine silica sand is squint-worthy-white in some parts). And you’ll spend your evenings toasting the sunset, dining on deck and being rocked gently to sleep….
